The Nigerian Women Entrepreneurs & Execuves in Tech Summit (WEETS) 2024, is targeted at optimizing digital opportunies for women/girls and making the ICT sector the next focal point for women’s development in Nigeria.

It is on record that Nigeria is today the biggest economy in Africa with one of the largest populaons of young people in the world. The country is well-posioned to develop a strong digital economy, which would have a transformaonal impact on the cizens and the economy.

Nigeria, however, is capturing only a fracon of its huge digital economic potenal. To move to the next level in developing a dynamic, transformave digital economy, there is an urgent need to empower the girl child, increase women’s socio-economic opportunies through access to digital technology, and boost digital skill acquision.
